particles and paint effects

Is there a way to have cloud particles in front of paint effects (like trees) rendered right? user added image

maybe you can render it in passes... first render the paint effects, then render the cloud particles and then composite them together

Sorry m8, but that is how it is done most of the time anywayzuser added image

Also, remember that Depending on your particle render-type settings, AND remember that PFX is a POST effect, and thereofore renders last, and overtop of everything else unless hidden by physical geometry... user added image
