NEED SOME HELP

well i know im knew and all and i just got maya for like my secound week and i want to model a car .... i seen the subaru tutorial and it didnt seem to fill me in i didnt even know how to start ..... any one got any good easy to read step by step tutorials on cars or air planes ....... speacially on polygons cause i think there easier to wrk with im trying to become a genius in maya ... and be 1 of the best ... any one care to help me out on tutorials or any thing i've tried ...

I've got a simple car tutorial at my site. Link in sig. My site's going through some server maintenance right now it seems, but should be back up soon.

My tutorial doesn't get into a lot of the details, but it should get you started.

About your problem, you have to first decide what you want to model your car with... Polys, SubDs, or Nurbs...then look at some tutorials on that subject... then ask questions in areas you are uncertain....
