Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

If you want a tip, go to the Alias Wavefront site and download the "ocean waves" shader. I don't know what I would do without it! If you take the time to tweak it, you can obtain so many different types of very cool looking water.

I found one called "Sea Waves" And its based off of a phong material I think. link...

Is that the one??
