Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Thanks for the wireframe on surface. It is mindboggling how you can keep a model straight once you start getting that much detail.

ctbram thanks bud...

Layed out the UV.s for Kermits real body hehehehe... Started the textures just base color right now to make sure I have all the seems matching up nice and clean. Will start the layering and building up of color and detail tomorrow.

D@mn Man you are just about done and you have like 2 months left on the comp. Looking good bro- Why does the mech in the rear looking less smooth then the rest of him? Did you reduce the tesselation to shorten the render times? Very, very cool Kurt!

That looks classuser added image . Are you going to give him one of those long frog tongues? You could make it mechanical or have mechanical enhancements. Could look pretty cool.
