Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Its a pressure sensitive Graphic Tablet. So when drawing/paint you're using more of a natural pen action.

I'm really bad at it at the moment :headbang:

Its a Warcom Graphire 3 (G-630), its an older model I think. In any case I paid $135AUD for it around $100USD

My 6 year old is playing with it now, so I have to wait until he is finished with it!

The only tips I'd say BMS is to keep using it, even when you can do the easy option and pick the mouse up user added image

Eventually you'll start liking it more than the mouse (though not if you use your machine mainly for games or writing documents.

Look up some photoshop texturing tutorials as well and try and finish them.

this may sound cheap but i did it and it helped loads
basicaly have a sketch the sixe of the drawing area (can b ur own or a print out)
config tablet so that for that app the drawing area on the board represents the drawing space on the comp(canvas)
and trace it

i donno y but i prefer to draw in corel rather that photoshop

its cheating i know but u will learn better conrol of ur hand eye coord wen using it then draw a similar style with out tracing
it worked for me check on my site under projects and wacom
this was the second thing i drew after my tracing session an im getting better evry time and so will u its just pratice

Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

Thanks Guys,

I'll take both suggestions on board and hopefully get better at this stuff.
