This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

yeah, I agree about the tires looking kind flat - like there is no air. Also there is no reflection of the sky on the windshield.

Otherwise, it's coming along well.

I removed the sky reflection on purpose

Really like the diamond plating. The reflections there are my favorite part.

Reflection

To get a good reflection, you could try to get your hands on a chromed sphere, and place it where you are going to composite the truck into the scene, and just take a picture of the reflection in the sphere... (go far away, nd zoom in on it)
Then use HDR-shop to turn it into an enviroment map.

Nirsul... Haven't seen you active for a minute then you come back with this! WOW! Nice stuff! user added image

But I've noticed something odd. It seems you have a brighter reflection in the door of the cab than anywhere esle. Maybe it's just me, but if you trace the reflection from the cab over to the door you can see it gets brighter there. ???

Damn good work, but IMHO, maybe a bit too reflective.

I noticed that too and modified it - but if you think it still there - please let me know

I also changed the pump panel to be a more realistic one
