First Real Head

OMG I love Maya! So many projects! I cant just stick with one heres my latest my first shoot at a realistic human head. Im using NURBS:p

hey hows is that tutorial. I just ran across it somehow online but I dont have the reference images. You think you can post them so when im done with my car, I can tryt o learn organic modeling. So far so good

Nice start - it looks pretty close to the references and if that's what you are going for, cool.

But to be honest, if I were you, I would try to find some better pictures - there are some pretty dodgy things going on in those references - for example, the eyes are too high and the upper half of the head is just way too small.

Hope you don't take offence - it just depends on whether you are going for an anatomically correct model or not.

ahaha looks like the image, keep up the great work..
i was just wondering because im making a head model aswell,
woudnt it be easier doing it with polygons and then convert to subdivs and twitch it up? ( im following the Ninja tut made by The Great Kurt )

this is done with nurbs and nubers curves. Its actually pretty easy once you know how to do it
