Animatrix Part 1 is out!

Animatrix: Part I

This rocks! It's part 1 of an anime version of the history of the matrix (came out Feb 4th)....how man created the robot...how robots rebelled....how they took over...etc. Just checked it out (god I love broadband!). Combines 2D and 3D animation....Awesome stuff. Be warned though...has a little cartoon nudity (a robot getting beat up and raped) and quite a bit of violence. Reminds me a bit of the old cartoon movie, "Heavy Metal." Parental discretion is advised. =p

Oh, i havent had a chance to watch this yet, but thanks a lot for this info! I will check it out tommorow for sure user added image. As for ghost in the shell!! Oh man, that is SUCH a good movie. I love that tank part and then she goes on the roof, rips off her arms in the attempt to tear off the door on the tank user added image.. wow. Also, if anyone has the time. its not illegal because it was on tv (just you cant distribute them with profit), these are some great anime series that you can get off of MIRC or any program that you can DCC send with people, or anything like that. Dragonball GT, Onegai teacher, and Love hina. Theres tons of others, but those are absolutely wonderful anime series.

Speaking of Ghost in the shell has anyone seen the new Comic of Ghost in the shell? I read the first one (A friend of mine let me borrow it while he was donating blood and I was waiting in the lobby.) The comic is pretty interesting. They combined Anime style drawings with CG artwork (Much like Vandread for those who have seen it)

@GateKeeper
You mean "Manmachine interface", right?
I`ve heard it`s an excellent story and 200 sites are colored(of 302).
