Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Just got maya and wanted to Jon in because I know I’ll be needing help. I followed a tutorial today and actually was able to render 30 frames and wa quite proud of myself.

Then the excitement left when after I did something and was not able to do it again. When I hit the render button the render view window no longer showed up and displayed the render. It was there several times and then not. Wha could I have done?

Remember the answer will almost certainly be my ignorant button pushing.

Any insight would be appreciated.
