As a test.

Delete your character set. and create a new one.
Change some controls just basic for testing, key them

Then select your char set
In the trax editor go to And create animation clip
Then export it it.

Open your new scene delete your char set, create a new one. set some keys.
Create anim clip,
Import Anim clip
Go to library insert source, clip

It should work. try also no to name the char sets the same, give it different names.

Hope it helps.

just noticed you did a double post

You need to sellect your control curves. As they controll your joints. Dont sellect bones clusters or mesh. just hide all and unhide nurbs curves

I dont have any control curves
i have a skeleton with a few ik handles and all keys are on the ik handles and joints, so what needs to be in the character set?
