Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

March/April - Garrt1953 - Normal

I think this comp looks like a bit of fun.

My thoughts are towards an overgrown Jungle scene, showing a relic or two from an earlier civilization.
So here is a quick start. I made today.

Made a Ramp shader for the leaves.
Still have to make the trunk for the trees.
Also I have to make the scene look a bit more interesting.user added image
A few high tech gadgets, some ruins partly hidden in the surrounding jungle, a vine hanging down. etc.

Thanks for the commentsuser added image

I thought it as time to add a bit more interest to the scene.
Starting to get the mood that I want to create.
4 Lights so far.
A bit more geometry in the background.
