New game! Garden Defense!

https://p.iwin.com/garden-defense/

Just released my first title in the casual game market - Garden Defense. user added image I'll be updating my website with stuff I did for the game soon. Wanted to show it to you guys and let you play the free 1 hour trial and maybe, if you like it, give you the chance to buy it!

It's a pretty fun game, if I do say so myself.

1st download of the game (inside the iwin window) came up with a 64 bit error (I'm running Windows XP-64bit).
Tried downloading it again and it was fine user added image

Nice tower defense variant and nicely polished to shoot, good one mike user added image

what kind of knowledge do you need to create a game like this? Just curious.

Haven't checked it out yet, but it looks cool

Depends on what you mean. If you're talking the entire game, we had 5 full time people and several temporary/contractors.

If you're talking art-wise, we had 3 main game artists. Myself doing most of the moving stuff. My art director who did all the backgrounds and a lot of the menu art, and a UI artist who did all the HUD stuff, buttons, menus, etc. The rest of them worked on programming, design, sound, and cinema stuff.

Working for a company named iWin yet not making the games for Mac?

That review looks great and the cons don't really seem like cons to me. I hope that you keep making great games at your new company.

BTW, how long does it take to make a casual game like this?

I started July 9th and we wrapped up last week, so considering they started programming before I got there, about 5 months or so.
