i would also suggest you use some female reference to help with proportion.

Ermm a little square generally. As the guys have said, you need some serious female references and check out the videos provided....

Character modelling is tricky so pay close attention to the forms you are seeking to create

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for the video. I saw that, nut the problem is our tutor wants it to be polygons only, starting from a cube.

The tutorial that I posted uses polygons. It only uses NURBS to help block the form. Delete them afterwards.

As has been said.....overlay some ref images...it will not take too long to change the geo. Or as Jay said download one of his tuts. You are a beginner so getting it right will not happen in less than a week. It takes a long time to get the hang of characters so you just need to work at it mate. Its too blocky, so you need to 'fill' the geo that looks square to make it look rounded.

What I did was mirror the left side to the right side, and that middle line has been there since.

ctrl-a to bring up your mirror node and turn the threshhold up or down, not sure which youll need, looks like up a bit.

I know your on a tight deadline for getting this model finished, but when you next start a character try to slow down at the start. It looks like your getting too carried away with trying to add features and details to your model far to early. You want to work with as few polys as possible while you get your basic shape sorted out. It gets much harder to fix issues with the overall shape of your model when you have lots and lots of vertices to be moving about as you'll struggle to preposition them accurately enough to stop imperfections popping up. People aren't either square or built perfectly straight, so next time before adding detail like your straps or facial feature take some time to focus on rounding out the rough shape. If you have one going and taking a look at yourself in a full length mirror is a great way of studying how the body looks and finding shapes you can bring into your modeling. Most of all keep practicing and eventually you'll get there.
