Dragon Project - image plains *help*

i fallowed all the steps but i think its just somthing wrong with my display. when i render the frame i can see the dragon. but not on my plane that i created. i dont know if that makes sense.

also, how do u get rid of the maya output window after u render a frame.

can you post an image of what you mean?

Minimize the window. Not usually a good idea to close it.

in the backround u can see the plan with no detail just a solid gray. but in the render u see the actual plan with the image on it.
in the tutorial it shows the dragon on the plan b4 the render. i was just wondering what options he had on to see the image on it b4 i rendered.
