Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

hot keys

Hey everyone, I'm not usually the one to give up and ask very many questions, but I'm stuck.
ok, I know if you hold the alt key and hit the arrow keys you can move verts etc, is there a way to set the amount of movement per push on the arrow key as it seems to move in an odd amount albeit a small amount.

Thanks in advance

Actually the small amount it moves is an advantage for lining up things or making those last minute touches hehe. First you eyeball it, then correct it with an alt+arrow tap or two. I wouldn't change it for the world. Personal preferrence.

The Alt+Arrow key combo is for precise 1 pixel movements.
Any other thing, it's dragging already.

Not sure what your problem is, you can also hold down the X,C or V keys when dragging your point to constraint.
