Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
Alright, heres where i am so far on the gun. I have been tweaking for a hour or more now, and yea, i have refined the general shape, then sucked in some of the verts and have been designing the top and front view of this gun, so that its not just an oval . Then i have added a dome like you see on the refrence picture thats above the gun. This is exact side view.

Lol, i so wish i could tweak these images, seeing that i see a few things i would just LOVE to touch up in photoshop.. but i wont. Just have to move a few verts .
