maya will not start. help

I recently flattend my laptop, and redid it. Now when I put matya on it gets to whereit is just about to load the 3d environment and then just cuts off. I get a message saying gfx card noit suopporting hardware rendering and pixel shading.

So I figured it may be that i installed the wrong driver, as I lost me installation disk, so i uninstalled the driver, and when i went back on the laptop, it found somne drivers for me, and maya worked,
Though when I restart the laptop and adjust the resolution it does not.

I dont understand as I used to have maya on it and it worked fine. Someone plz help. It is an sism650 gfx. Please helop as i am left without maya now.
