Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

j5ive-Challenge

I'm in for this one, I've got a great idea, it's similar to someone elses though has a twist so hopefully that person wont mind. I'm keeping it under wraps for the time being but best get my skates on as I'm going Skiing in Canada mid Feb so I'll have less time.

Good luck all. (You'll need it user added image )

Just found out I am going abroad working for the next month so it looks like I will not finish this unfortunately. So here is where I am, was going for the 'laughing buddha' with a twist though, this laughing buddha is not your stereotypical straight laced buddha, but has falling off the rails and become a layabout drunk wasted buddha with no inhibitions. Anyway here it is...

sorry you're not able to finish, it looks pretty good so far! hopefully you'll still work on it so we can see an end result, but either way, good luck in your travels next month!

Cheers guys, I'll continue as much as I can though I can't see me making up enough time to complete it in 2 weeks. Good luck all, it seems you've been let off this one user added image

Cheers Marlon, never noticed the feet before, think it's more beneficial to have a break from modelling as you notice the perucliarities more rather than working solid non-stop at it. user added image
