This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Are you going to texture it? If so, it will be much easier to UV map before being abandoned.

I'll start with some practices UV maps then, I do not have a clue on how to do this stuff...
Any tips Joopson/good tutorials? Or should I look at the maya help files?

i'm no joopson but the maya help files are good.
if you can get any of the texturing tutorials from here it's also good

Ok, I got my start in texturing. Now Im mapping -> texturing -> "abadoning" the induvidual objects. Thats basicly my workflow at the moment...

Ok, Im going to give up on the challenge...I won't have the time to work on this and the tank (challenge against chirone). user added image
And my decision is to work on the tank, since chirone already has put in a lot of effort/time. And stopping that battle would basically just annoy him/other people.

awww, that's sad to hear! we can extend the date of the tank challenge if you want! i don't mind

you should still work on the telescope, but just put it in the WIP and work on it when you have time. I still want to see what you were up to with this one user added image
