Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Strawberry Illustration

Recently quoted for a job similar to this but the client decided to go the photographic route. I've decided to have a go anyway in my spare time. Generally the idea is fruit splashing in flavoured milk.

Cool, people often turn to realflow or nParticles for this sort of thing, but it looks like you're using hand-crafted geo? Which sounds like a great exercise. Make sure some of the splashes have bumps on the end like your reference.

It's just a still so I went for the zbrush route....I'd like to have a go with realflow but we don't have it.

sss liquid

I've exported the models as hires mesh from zbrush and then used a soften edge command (normals). I'd rather do that than use displacements if my computer can handle it.
Trying different setups to get the liquid looking right. The material is a misss_fast_simple_maya.

Try sIBL Lightsmith. Will get you a nice HDRI studio wrap which is how they lit your product shot you are after anyways.

Thanks, that looks very impressive. Just got to get IT to install it as my machine is locked out.
Cheers.

Testing the misss_fast_simple_maya with a misss_skin_specular plugged into the specular.

Looks not too bad, still the color is not 100% yet. But the skin shader works nice already. Dont forget to add the seeds ;-)
