Oliphant Tutorial Question

Hey guys, hope everyone is ok.

Just got a little question about the Oliphant tut. Im only on video 2 in the series and im stuck already. user added image

He's pulling bit's around in Sub-D's and doing all that and then (quick as a flash) it changes to a Poly model. He said he was going to put a few more edges in there to add some detial so I thought fair enough. Sounds like a good idea to me.

But when I goto convirt Sub-D's to Poly's it looks naff. It has all the complexity of the Sub-D model. So I was just wondering how he did that (and also how he did it so quickly).

If you want me to put up screenshots to show you what I mean then just say.

Cheers for your help in advance. user added image

posta few screens up.. sound like when you coenvert back to poly from sub-ds you have a settig that needs to be changed. Make sure when you converting back to a poly from a subd you have vertices selected. If you dont your poly mesh will get high in geo real fast.
