Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Motion Blur. After Effects? Work?

Hi,

Tried doing motion blur in After Effects 7.0. Shutter Angle = 360 shutter phase = -360. All timeline stuff is switched on. Doesn't seem to work.

Really happy with the results with Mental Ray in Maya but the motion blur coupled with final gather is really killing the render time.

So has anyone done post-production motion blur with After Effects successfully?

I usually handle motion blur in post production (AE, Fusion or Nuke usually), this is because of 3D Motion Blur is a real killer, and often unnecessary.

Search for AE tutorials about motion blur, you'll probably find some handy hints.
