audio missing after batch render

I've never done this before but I just did a batch render of a ten second animation with audio. But playing back the rendered animation the audio is missing. How do I attach the audio?

I'd render out frames and then combine the audio and video in another application. Maya's not really intended to be a video/sound editor. Take the video into premier or after effects or final cut or iMovie or windows movie maker.
