simplymax.com - 56 k warning

Hi all.

Work has started on the simplymax.com site; I have started a couple of pre-designs... I want then to all look "familiar" but slightly different if you get me?

So like the

https://www.simplymaya.com
https://www.simplylightwave.com

I would like people to know they are on a simply site.

So here a start - all feedback would be great!

2 diff colours:

and

Suggestions / comments....? I would like them not "over the top" in gfx display but look nice clean and easy nav

Looks nice, not sure about having flat tabs though (the welcome bits).

Just a question for you though, are you planning on having a central "simply" site? That kinda points to all of the specific ones.

::edit:: and of the above two, i prefer the one that has the black background behind the nav buttons.

Typeface is kinda weak, Kev, and gets washed out with the white on purple. Also difficult to read because it's kerned so close together. I would get away from using an extended style font (is that Eurostyle?). It's fine in the main header though.
