It looks like the ear flaps you're refering to, Vlad, are actually suppose to be the loose folds of skin just behind the jaw.

Looks like they could use some good tweaking to match the reference in size and edge flow.user added image

welcome back Kiveun

Looks like you've got a good base mesh already in place. As already mentioned you just need to cut that ear hole into the head and then add detail.

Indeed, it is only some slackened skin which I started to make. And not, I do not make a komodo but any reptile has a certain similarity.
