Looks like you will definitely be able to finish your scene by the deadline. Keep pressing on man

Now that looks great! Great job adding the irregularity to the mirror. Tons of character now. I also like the new door knob better too.

Edit: I think the frame of the mirror is perfect but I'm wondering if the mirrored surface is too irregular. Hard to know for sure though until you get some reflections on there. You've definitely got the idea though. Well done

the mirror itself is 1 polygon, and has no irregularities.
i just mapped a ramp into its reflection color.

Great concept, man. Really playful and fun. I think you should skew the proportions more on all the other elements with the look of the mirror.

Keep it up

Okay, on second thought I think you should make everything straight. That way I'll have a better chance of winning, hehe. You're really getting the hang of it now. I think the mirror, the door, the baseboards, the floor seams all flow well together. I'm not an expert, but I do think it looks pretty darn awesome. Very cartoony and should fit really nice with your character.

sorry about posting several times in a row, but its summer now so i am working on it a lot.

here is a render just to help show the TV and bureau in the parents room, although this lighting wont be used. this is just so it wont be as grainy(I'm using maxwell to render, and a 5 minute render isn't good for lighting a room with GI ^_^)

keep in mind that that room wont be bright, so the model is very simple. you will barely see it.
