This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

MAY/JUNE - Noob - Bowring_2002

This Is my first time entering one of these comps and im kinda new to maya but i think it will be a good learning experience for me,
I'm gonna attempt to model a Hammerhead shark

Since Last Post i converted into Poly's and started actually modelling,
i started tackling the fins

I've Now smoothed out the model and i just have to stich up the vertecies that went astray and then im on to the fun that is UV Mapping
Anyone got any tips on UV mapping as i am REALLY bad at it

I decieded to experiment with cel shading effects and made a few quick renders

read the rules about the size of the images if u dont want them deleted.... just a tip

nice. liking the cell shading. if u ever get some nice underwater fluid effects please let us kno. yea the size is around 640 x 460 or something like that.
