MAY/JUNE - Noob - spekkio

ok im gonna try and give this a go, it'll be a learning experience for me =)

im gonna go for a hydra look alike - will it pass for an undersea creature? i've always wanted to do one, but a more cartoony style like the one from disney's hercules..

ill come up w/ a sketch soon, its kinda late now

Well, cant crit much at this point, not much to crit at, but its coming out pretty well. The heads might come out too thin if that is their actual thicknexss. Anyways, good luck on working out the rest of the model.

Cheers, user added image

wow...you're punching some details on your model na ah...
hehehe.

i dont know if you intend to put some geometric detail in the body area but if not, i think you have have excess edge loops (cross section) on the body that will make it difficult for you to tweak your model. dont forget to keep your poly down to the acceptable minimum. user added image

looking forward to the updates

i agree with frayo that the neck is really quite long...but then again i've never actually seen a hydra so i guess it doesnt matter :p

i'd love to see how the final model turns out user added image
