Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

copy paste uvs

ok so I'm doing ok creating a procedural texture for a load of stone columns in a scene. I can apply the txtr but I've only done the UV's on one column. Can I not simply copy those UV's select all the other idendical columns and paste them on? All I've managed to do up to yet is crash Maya =/

thanks - it's kinda worked - as in the columns now have UV's but the original has cylindrical mapping and the others... another one - automatic by the look of it =/

Is the geo absolutely identical? Try changing some of the options, like component, world, etc.

well it's working - but I've got to do it one at a time it seems. I get that 'cycle-e check error' otherwise
