Yes, there are no raytraced shadows. The DMap-Res. is 4096 and the DMap-Filter-size was set to 4...
The Render Globals were something like this:
AntiAlising: Highest Preset adjusted with: 12*shadows
Raytracing: 12, 12, 4


I thought about animating it, but when I remember the time for rendering, 26 for the first and 32 minutes for the last picture I get pessimisticuser added image. But perhaps an animation without raytracing would be possible. There these images needed 4 and 5 minutes or so..

Whoa! Gotta say, This is one great image! You´ve improved quite a lot since the logo. Why don´t you try rendering an anaglyph image? I had a blast with the other one! user added image

ok, here's the anaglyph image with a slightly improved surrounding...user added image I hope one can see a bit the 3d-effect with the red(left)-blue(right)-glasses...
