UV's to photoshop

How can i put my uv's into photoshop??? (textuing the door tutorial)

select object- then, in uv edit window,

polygons-uv snapshot

maybe it would be good to update the tutorial. Or make the answer to this question a sticky it seems to come up srt of frequently. user added image

Mc Kinkley has definately got a place reserved in heaven, god knows how many he's helped. but.., what's a sticky??

I'm downloading his tut off his site now, I hope it is not the texturing in photoshop, got it (its great), I hope itsabout UV snapshots or ANYTHING close to it...

but.., what's a sticky..??

Sticky is (i think) that if this is very much asked that the mods make it a sticky so it keeps at the top of the forum. (i think)
And yes it is uv texturing in photoshop but also about uv snapshot and stuff.

yes, its not the same.., its the tut I've been looking for all my maya life. It will take a few times watching but all questions answered... because what's a model with out a good texture?? Well.. that could be an interesting question??

a model w/o a gr8 texture is a polygon. with lots of faces. Or possibly it could be a bezier surface or a B-Spline surface.

Yes that's what I meant user added image I think the question how to make a uv snapshot pops up quite often.
