little display problem

Hi,
as you know, you could switch between standard and polygon mode while modeling with Subdivs.
Well, one object in my scene rejects switching back to standard mode.
The RMB- menu does not even display "standard"- only polygon.
This is very uncomfortable and getting on my nerves, because i cannot view the scene properly anymore.
Please help!

Greetings

The only time this has happened to me was when I bound the subdiv to a skeleton then unbound it. Did you by chance do this? Did you do anything similar to your geometry that might have given you this effect?

No. But i did some Duplicate>Instance and copy>paste stuff.
So i solved the problem by deleting a lot of shapes in the Hypergraph, then the polygons disappeared.
Then i saved my file and chose the polygon mode again and the problem was there again. Meanwhile doing all this a basic lambert was assigned to the Subdiv, wich i had to delete. So if think of the problems you have, i would say it has got something to do with Nodes and so, what i am not very familiar with, yet.
Just a german newbie, neither able to speak english nor Mayauser added image
