Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Texturing a cartoon character.

Hi Everyone,

I have a 3D cartoon concept to texture for rendering a still. I have modelled and UV'd it.

Texturing is not my strong point and I am curious how you all would do it.

It is basically Hightlights / Midtones and Shadows.

I was thinking doing it in Substance 2 and PS or just PS.

Also I was looking into Toon shaders.

Not sure the best approach to take.

Attached an image of the same style of colours and shadows.

Any tips greatly appreciated user added image
