Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

You should really try and clean up that area near the top. Try deleating several of those edges that dont lead to anyware.

Hey, that's not bad! Glad to see you fixed the creases around the eyes. I really like the big cartooniness of the straw. user added image

Thanx!! I was going for a cartoony look for the fact that i want to turm this into a short animation... but i still suck at modeling and im low on ideas at the moment.. i got lucky on the 3 point lighting setup right there.. it wont happen again cuz i have no idea how i did it in the first place.. i just kept positioning the lights and it looked nice and soft for a while.. nothing special but as ive said many times this is my first time 3d modeling and ive never seen a book.. im just kind of falling into it so i suck.. anywho ill get better in a couple yrs but for now im having fun...
