stargate

well i'm modeling a stargate , here an image of it , but i think it sucks ....
i doesn't look very realistic , i'm i'm a very bad texturer
also i want to have that wormhole thing
but i really don't know how any tips ? suggestions ? or comments ? thnx guys :-)

like the stargate but i think it'd look a lot better if u rotated the ground so you get rid of that corner and have a flat horizon.
