Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Robot Tutorial!

Something a bit different from my usual fare, I wanted something that looked good but was simple to rig and animate for beginners, I think i got it

Rigging it will be up next.

For those of you waiting for the Spach-Alspaugh House volume 3 i apologize for the delay but there has been a overhaul of the gi and mental ray in general in Maya 2016 so we're still working out the best way to approach this.

Looks great David! I haven't been super active lately as I'm usually pretty busy with assignments for the two year CG modeling course that I'm enrolled in but I have to say that I'm always impressed by the quality of tutorials that you guys produce. I have benefited greatly from them over the years.

Cheers, the Yeti.

here is a look at some rig testing with retargeted mocap data for volume two. Very early WIP lots of problems to sort out but it should give you an idea of what he looks like moving.
