how would i go about setting up a rigid body to pivot on a given axis but not bounce arounduser added image

I'm guessing you'd need a constraint... like a hinge or something similar... they can be found in the Soft/Rigid Bodies menu.

i've been startin to get to know real flow (just got it today) so i know ill be usin that in the final but other than that im really busy for the time being so i dont know how long itll be before any progressuser added image
