- In short; it's said to be easier to control than Mental ray so you get a nice image with less effort, I think it was originally developed for architects who got depressed about all the fancy buttons in mental ray user added image

I never much cared for it to be honest, If i have some time i would want to take a look at Renderman and Turtle -render engines because they both something different

yeah, i thought sth like that too.

May be architectural stuff is wht they are focusing on...similar to Yafaray with Blender.

What is about Turtle?Whats it speciality?

I believe realtime rendering it's as far as i know primarily used for games
