3djoe: i think you might be using the wrong light script, the light script comes with the zip file, there are instructions on pixho.com regarding how to install the thing
z1mmnd14: GI_JOE is a global illumination light script, basically what that does is FAKE real world lighting because maya doesnt support GI at this time

and no there isnt just on GI faking script, GI_Joe is just one of many, but its also my fave atm
im also liking a script called real fake GI (i think thats what its called, havent used maya in a long time) both scripts are easy to use and look very nice
