Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

texturing

I started the texturing,it's a real learning experience but I am determined to at least get this model textured to some degree user added image
of course these may not be the final textures but I will have to see how much I can achieve in the time available.

Jack i first started in Maya or any 3D about one month and a half ago ..lol
i am basically learning it as I make this..I have'nt completed a single model yet.
I don't think I can be considered anything but a noob.
I have no formal art training at all although I could always draw from a young age..but never could paint so I guess the texture thing is gonna come really hard to me.

Coming along. I'd say the weakest aspects of it at the moment are lighting and textures. Some nice dramatic lighting would be cool. The textures, for the most part, seem a little drab.
