Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

How can I mirror a object?

I am makina 737-400 plane, But i am kind a lazy and want to only make one wing and use it on both sides. So i need to mirror it, Thanks,

When you duplicate the object go to the duplicat options box and change the scale of 1 in X to -1 and move it across. See attached pic:

Bah, it's not lazy to not want to model the exact same wing twice, it's smart.

If you check "instance" when you duplicate, any tweaks you do to the original wing will be reflected in the duplicated one.

don't model something twice unless the second object is different......damn a movie would take forever to make if that was the case
