Just about to stick a dirt bomb under this thing. My idea was to have it all smashed up,.. its a shame cause it looks so new.. but thats the plane..

thanks Iybird.

Heres where im up to at the moment. Circled the areas i think need fixing, and drawn in a old stone fence. thats the next thing on my list. After that im thinking of putting in a old burn out tree or stump somwhere to the right of the pic.

Hey, the carriage frame is still in good shape. I think it could be recycled. Nice aged look on the textures. Maybe some transparency mapping to create nicks and chips off the edges?

ahh sweet idea.. something i forgot was to do the chips out of the wood. I already have a trasparency map on it to get some of the aged looks, so i think i will split some faces and take them out that way.

Is the background a rock or mountain. If it's mountain, you might blur it to set it "back" farther. The stone wall looks good, but it's hard to get a sense of its scale. To me it looks kind of like a garden retaining wall.

question: won't spliting faces mess with the UV coordinates and thus distort the texture?
