Here is mine.

My buddy requested that I drew him a pick of Raziel(sp?) from the Soul Reaver games. Origonally it was done in B&W uni-ball pen and sharpie user added image

I then scanned it and colored it in Photoshop. It is the first time Ive ever done anything using Photoshop 6.0....so compared to some of your guy's stuff its mediocre.

I chance my desktop every week with a new drawing of mine...so this this one with Raziel is this week's theme user added image

I'm using a dual screen display at 2048 x 768

I change it around a lot, but it is hard to find good dual screen wallpapers.

(can't attach a picy for some reason, I must have P****D off someone there as my attach bar is gone and some of my threads have been deleted ....... I thought I was being a good boy, but apparently not)

I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply, and multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet, you are a plague, and we are the cure.

mine is simple and clean. replaced explorer shell with blackbox. tweaked a gray style and made it a bit darker and added the orange. i like those 2 colors together user added image then i made the wallpaper using one of the happy faces i found on one of the wallpapers from deskmod. made it match my whole grey-orange scheme. hehe. blackbox uses only about 6mb of mem which is why i like it. unlike explorer..goes ballistic up to 35mbs (!!! approx the most i had).

same here. I have always been an AMD fan. Never had any problems with heating. I did a pentium 4 install the other week and had to install extra fans because the proc temp started getting scary

Linux

I laugh at all you Windows users... :p

Here is a screenshot of my computer running Gentoo Linux 2004.0 (fully updated). My desktop environment is Gnome 2.4.2., with the Crystal SVG icons for Gnome added on, of which I am the co-founder of the project.

I run the Linux/Irix version of Maya Unlimited 5.0.1. (Even though the only "officially supported" Linux distro is Red Hat 7.2/7.3, you can get it to run on just about any distro, you just need to "tweak" it a little.)

At the bottom right of the screenshot, I have a thing called a gDesklet, and the only gDesklet I have running right now is my Weather Forecast one.

Also, I run a AMD Athlon XP 1800+ with no problems. My whole house is AMD, I love them! user added image
