LOL! No, actually, I shot the background plate with a Canon GL1. The match moving was done by a friend of mine who does this stuff professionally.

that looks awesome, I'm about to experiment with matchmoving I don't really know much about it so this should be fun.

For the match moving, all I did was make little Xs on the wall and table. If you look close you can see them. The guy who ran the solver said it worked without too much tweeking.
