13th resident: thanks hehe and i would animate but my desktop messed up and the laptop i have that i'm doing work on can't hardware render user added image so the emitters in dynamics won't work for me but i'll try another way around it because i wanna show it flying and stuff because it is lightning fast hehe user added image.

you know what? i think i might give neostrider's idea a try with the cross between those all and i'll try and make it morphing like a macross haha.

hey remember a while back you said u could not texture and i knew a good tutorial on it, found it! https://www.mtmckinley.net/ go to tutorials and look in the modeling setion for "uv mapping and textureing for polygons" it's not very long but it really helped.

up to now all i did were tuts and nothin else.
now you got me all cracky with the mechs so i decided to make one myself and compete against yours ;D
as it's not finished yet you just get to see the silhouette of it
(credits to nightz9 for this idea user added image
consider this my first ever self made model.
as it's hard to see anything on the pic don't bother criticising (though you may if you wish)

ok.. as the vital parts are finished i thought i'd give you some idea how this one looks like.
i really don't know what to do about the colors though.. i just can't think of anything suitable so i kept it simple.
feel free to criticise and make suggestions, i hope you will!
and please, if you know what i could do about the colors or looks in general please don't hesitate to tell me ;D

so here are 4 snaps of the four-legged one..
