4, be ambitious, otherwise it looks too human.

Oh, that's not what I was thinking you would do. I was expecting you to have a set under his other arms.

Do you have to animate it?

yea i do have to animate.
I hadent thought of putting them under his arms, but if do that hes not going to be walking on them. So i guess that would make him be on two legs, and have four arms. which may look ok too. I will put some on and see how it looks
Thanks for you input.

Yeah. I think I agree. I say give him 4 legs like in your first revision and lengthen his body (between the 2 sets of legs) so that he looks more centaur-like (does that make sense?).

Lookin' forward to seeing him in action!

I like the 2 legs better since he looks intelligent, just give him a longer ..um..butt apendage whatever that is... plus it'll be easier to animate.

Hi guys
Thanks for all the comments. They are so helpful.. well ive made up mind that im going to go with the two legs. Im made his body and chest bigger, and defined more of his arms. I think he looks better now. I dont think he will look so human once i have textured him.

looks good so far, I think you need to be cautious on your model though... hate to bear bad news... its begining to look like the characters' on the movie ants. But! your doing a great job on him user added image keep up the good work

I was going to say the same thing, it looks like one of the army ants. Maybe making the abdomen bigger will make it look more ant-like?

Make the abdomen bigger as was said already and also make the legs longer, less human like and more insect like. Look at how a real ants legs are e.g. where the joins are etc and then move on from there and adapt it to what you need. The feet etc all just look too human.
