Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Happy Halloween from Frank

Hey guys and gals, it's been about 2 weeks since my last post so here is my latest character......Frankenshhhhteen. He is very much a work in progress (I'll be doing a lot of work on sunday with him). He'll be making an appearance in my lastest matchmove.

I'm hosting my site now on my personal computer (business rate dsl), so images may be a little slow downloading.

Hey guys, thanks so much for all the nice comments!!! Here are some updates. I've shot the background plate, and I'm starting to create the wrap deformers now. More to come tonight and tomorrow.

Ok, he is now smooth skinned (still have some weighting to to), has 200 frames of animation, and I'm creating a few blend shapes for when he takes a tumble.

Here is the animation clip that will be imported into the matchmoved scene. Frank is obviously "out of juice" and falls after taking a few steps

Ok guys, here is the comp with the matched plate. I prefer to keep it black and white since this frankenstein was modeled from the old frankenstein of the 50's.

The animation is about 3.5 megs 720 x 480

His knees kind of jerk when he starts to fall to the ground.
