Render view goes blank.

Has anyone experienced while rendering a scene the entire render view goes white, and does not fix itself until the scene is finished rendering. I'm using Windows XP with a Radeon 8500.

As stated at the A|W site, that is one of the side effects when using Maya with XP. Just have to deal with it. I don't think it's all that much of a big deal, as I don't usually do anything in Maya while waiting for it to render an image.

I guess it's just one of those small things that just bother the hell out of you. I just wanted to see the progress of the rendering filling in block by block. Oh well, I guess you can't win them all.
