Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

And now for something completely different ;)

I thought I'd post some of my 2d stuff here. All done in various apps but all completed in Photoshop. Enjoy!

I have lots I can bother you with, but that ought to be enough for now...

Darkon

Red bellows of flame have blackened my stones
Convulsing my frame and cracking my bones
Hell's dragons of steel who roar in their chains
Crawl into my caves to suck out my veins.....

Great work!! I fool around with paint shop bro quite a bit. I want to learn Maya. I registered here to start learning about it. A friend of mine as maya but doest know how to work it.

Here is a pic of yoda I made from some wallpaper found on the force.net . I had to clean up and resize it a bit ( the origional was huge). I added a special effect in where there was none .user added image[/IMG]

I like the origional trilogy better than the prequel trilogy. I only saw episode 2 twice in theaters, once in 35mm and once in digital.

I like the terminator series better .

I chose the screen name THX1138 because it sounds cool and I have yet to see the THX1138 movie all the way through, cant catch it when it starts user added image

hey does anybody here do any terminator art?

I must say though, Episode II shows an enormous amount of effort in terms of CG planning, storyboards, and all.

Might want to check The Art of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones book for notes on how they create such an inmersive experience.

See you around!

Ok, got bored tonight and started in Maya, but switched over to Photoshop after I had a simple render to play with. Nothing great here, just killing time user added image And the full title of this is actually Castles Made from Dreams(have no Foundation).

How do you make the lightning look so natural in form? Every time I try to draw lightning, it looks sick.
