Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

heh, reminds me of an old lego set of a police station I had as a lad, good times...

Anyway, I think the layout is good, only the modelling needs detail, everything appears to be a bit too 'primitive' at the moment.

Hello,

great start there, it really needs those knobbly bits that define lego though. Keep it up, looking forward to seeing progress.

Cheers,

Mat.

for the belly of the dinosour it looks like you just shaded the faces as aopposed to doing a uv map of the bottom of him for a smoother effect.

Thanks for your responses!
And indeed I've just shaded the faces at the Belly. I'm pretty bad at shading objects.
